Charlotte assists the diabetes lead and provides a full range of nursing duties including asthma checks, INR cervical screening, dressing and compression bandaging, baby, childhood, adult & travel vaccinations, pre- diabetes advice, COPD checks & spirometry.

JANET EDWARDS

Janet is a general practice nurse she is the lead in our Pre-Diabetic service and runs a group session at the surgery twice a month. Nursing duties, Asthma checks, Full diabetic check, INR, Compression bandaging and Dressings, Baby, childhood, Adult and travel vaccinations, Doppler scanning of the lower leg, COPD checks & spirometry

Health Practitioners

Our team of Advanced Clinical Practitioners can see patients over the age of 16 they cannot however see patients for any gynaecological related problems. They can prescribe and refer the same as a GP.

Tracey joined our team on the 1st May 2017 from Bassetlaw District General Hospital were she worked in General surgery and Acute medicine, She is 18 years educated to masters level for all Advance Clinical Practitioners duties.

NIGEL ALLISON

Nigel joined us from the community and is an Advanced Clinical Practitioner working alongside the Partners and he is able to deal with most problems as the Salaried Doctors do apart from under 16's and Gynae. He can deal with most infections, chronic illness such as diabetes and COPD and is able to prescribe.

MATTHEW FLETCHER

Matthew joined our team on the 1st June 2017 from Bassetlaw District General Hospital working in Ambulatory care with a background of Acute medicine, haematology and nursing experience of 9 years. He is a qualified Advance Clinical Practitioner of 3 and a half years.

RACHEL BRAMALL

Rachel is our Paramedic who specialises in acute and emergency medicine and care, she works alongside our daily triage doctor to provide community home visits to patients unable to get to the surgery.

The practice manager is involved in managing all of the business aspects of the practice such as making sure that the right systems are in place to provide a high quality of patient care, human resources, finance, patient safety, premises and equipment and information technology. The practice manager supports the GPs and other medical professionals with delivering patient services and also helps to develop extended services to enhance patient care.

Receptionists provide an important link for patients with the practice and are your initial contact point for general enquiries. They can provide basic information on services and results and direct you to the right person depending on your health issue or query. Receptionists make most of the patient appointments with the GPs and nurses. They also perform other important tasks such as issuing repeat prescriptions and dealing with prescription enquiries, dealing with financial claims, dealing with patient records and carrying out searches and practice audits.
