Patients on long term medication and approved by their doctor for repeat prescriptions can place orders in a number of ways.
We accept telephone requests however it is advisable to ring after 12:00 to avoid the busy morning period. Ask for prescriptions when you call and you will be put through to a dedicated member of staff. You can also use the repeat slip attached to your previous prescription and either drop it in at reception or post it to us.
Most local chemists offer a collection and delivery service. Please contact the chemist of your choice to arrange this, it is not something the receptionist is able to do for you.
Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip. Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.
*** Please allow 24 Hours from ordering for the prescription to be processed if collecting from surgery, if you have selected a chemist for electronic prescribing this will equate to a 72 hour process.
